Shaving every day...?

At 35 it sounds like you probably tried everything but I have always used a Norelco rotary shaver with 3 heads and it gives a close shave and is much faster than using shaving soap, etc.When my skin gets a little irritated I use my wife's moisturizer lotion called Olay, made by Proctor & Gamble. It really helps your skin.
