Is there a trick or sound that will automatically make my dog shut up?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! I am so desperate for a solution to her crazy barking and whining. We keep her in the crate only at night and she's so neurotic. She won't shut up. We can never get any sleep. We're near the point in giving her away. We even have a barking collar and a muzzle, but she somehow manages to bark and whine so loudly even through those. I am so desperate. please help me
